Quinta do Vallado, built in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous quintas in the Douro. It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains today in the hands of her descendants. The Quinta is situated on the banks of the Corgo River where it joins the Douro, not far from Peso da Régua. Since 2005 Quinta do Vallado has been able to welcome guests to its comfortable Hotel, comprised of an historic building and a new one built by the architect Francisco Vieira de Campos, which uses primarily the local schist. Quinta do Vallado has 13 bedrooms.

In the historic village of Marialva, on the line between the magic of the Douro and the comforts of civilisation, the Casas do Côro are a reference among Portuguese guesthouses. With an unparalleled commitment and dedication, Carmen and Paulo Romão knew how to bring new life to a medieval village, restoring several buildings. On the exterior, the Casas respect the local architecture, but on the interior the local stone and wood ensure a comfortable environment. The decoration harmonizes the traditional and the contemporary in an intimate atmosphere. The Casas do Côro offer a total of 24 bedrooms.

Ana and António, both biologists, left the stressful life of the city to settle in the historic village of Castelo Rodrigo. In between their various nature conservancy projects, they have created the accommodations of Casa da Cisterna. They purchased and restored several centuries-old houses near an ancient water tank, which in the old days provided water to the population and now gives its name to the Casa. In an intimate atmosphere, you can relax in comfort; Ana has carefully seen to all the details. The Casa da Cisterna offers 7 bedrooms.
